Imoon Hosts ASSIL Training Course on Lighting for Commercial and Retail Spaces

As an ASSIL member, Imoon will host at its Milan headquarters the training course “Lighting Commercial and Retail Spaces: From Standards to Practical Design”, taking place on 8 October 2026.

The morning session will focus on the lighting design of commercial spaces, exploring the role of light in shaping the in-store experience and enhancing products.

The programme will cover various aspects of retail lighting design, from the evolution of the store as an experiential space and a tool for brand communication, to the strategic role of lighting in the customer journey, and the development of a lighting concept based on brand, target audience, layout and merchandising analysis.

Particular attention will also be given to light quality and product perception, including light distribution, direction, contrast, glare control, colour temperature and colour rendering. The programme will also address system flexibility, lighting control technologies, energy efficiency and sustainability.

At the end of the training session, some participants will have the opportunity to continue the experience with a visit to the Imoon showroom, where they can explore the topics covered during the course in a real-world setting and experience first-hand the lighting solutions, technologies and applications developed for the retail sector.

The event represents an important opportunity for training and professional exchange, providing industry professionals with practical insights and tools to approach retail lighting design in an integrated and informed way.
